APL 2025 DISCOVERY
Discovery APL is for those who want to have a good time in the company of like-minded people, see parts of Lithuania they haven't seen before, and perhaps prepare for next year's Traditional APL. If you want a bit more challenge and off-road – perhaps it's worth thinking about and choosing the APL Gravel format.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Discovery APL is a journey around Lithuania near its border. The start and finish locations each morning are the same as for everyone else, but the team chooses which roads to take to get there. Every day, the team will receive a list of recommended sites to visit. Group tours will also be organized at some locations. This journey is not a race. It's a journey where experience, good times, and community are most important. Are you alone? No problem! We'll connect you with other participants or already formed teams.
This is a vacation, an easy journey, and a good time! Discovery APL participants also travel about 2000 km throughout the journey, so you can expect that challenges of one kind or another will meet you here as well. Changing weather conditions or a flat tire shouldn't scare you.
A suitable motorcycle. ANY type of registered motorcycle with a valid technical inspection!
Reliable equipment. Navigation (a smartphone is also suitable), tools, first aid kit – recommended.
Thirst for adventure. Most importantly, a good mood and attitude!
Each day, an overnight stay awaits in a different location in Lithuania, where you can relax, share impressions, and perform repairs. During the day, you'll have a list of suggested sites to visit. Which ones to visit and which ones not to – you'll decide as a team. Accommodation varies: from campgrounds to rural tourism homesteads, depending on the day's route.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
- Transportation of participant's personal belongings - tent, sleeping bag, spare parts - 1 piece (up to 15 kg, up to 60 l.)
- Breakfast and dinner at different overnight locations
- Overnight stay in a tent, campsite fee
- Permits from the State Border Guard Service (VSAT)
- Prepared list of sites to visit each day*
*It may be possible to access certain sites that would normally be impossible to enter.... :) But for now, this is just a maybe
WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED?
- Participant's arrival and departure from the start/finish location
- Transportation of the motorcycle in case of breakdown
- Fuel
- Meals during the day
- Additional services: Saunas, room rental (at overnight locations), technical service, etc.
- Everything else not mentioned in the "Included" section
