APL 2025 FAQ

I don't want to ride with a team, can I ride alone?

No. It's not safe. For off-road, enduro, we always ride in groups. If an accident happens, at least one other team member will provide assistance, and at least one other participant will go meet the support vehicle. Also, pulling a motorcycle out of a swamp is always easier with several people, and sometimes it's the only way to get out when stuck.

I'm a beginner; should I register?

In the registration form, make sure to indicate your experience level. We will match you with a team according to your ability.

Which format should I choose?

If you have off-road experience, i.e., you know the difference between riding on sand versus gravel and have tried it successfully - choose the traditional format. If your motorcycle is veeeery new and you think a broken mirror or scratches from branches would make you sad, want to ride with a passenger, want to sweat less and speed more - choose Gravel APL. If you want to tour, see tourist attractions, or ride a road motorcycle - choose the Discovery APL.

I won't register because I don't have a team!

That's not a reason not to register! Most participants register individually. We commit to dividing everyone into teams based on ability and similar motorcycle types. Register and we'll find you a team.
